I was thinking to choose some real summer stuff for this post in the first place.
but then, what does real mean here?
after all, most of the time, I don’t take a stroll on empty beaches.
with a dog grinning widely at me and waiting for the next stick to be thrown.
I’m rather working. and my cat is even to lazy to go on the balcony.
and maybe the beach should be replaced by big crowds or/and in noisy streets.
anyway, I still love the city.
and hearing taking back sunday while taking a stroll in it.

bat for lashes – two suns
an album that you should not miss.
the videos daniel and what’s a girl to do are quite exceptional.
in a good way.

last weekend the word decadency came up more than once.
my friends and I had some very good ideas.
I think, that an evening with a mask as a must-have should
also figuring on the list.

when it comes to fashion I have to think immediately of the balmain fall 2009 collection.
the peaked-shoulder jackets are still very nice.

apparently I have to start thinking in other dimensions.

bret easton ellis – lunar park
what can I say? it is a big mess of glitter and other things very close to
absolute madness.

since I had to run run yesterday (birthday marathon – two friends turned 30 in a row), I didn’t leave a note with the song. well, there is not a lot to say besides that pony pony run run is a french band and that I especially like that remix.
so, I was thinking about music and flipped through some pictures until I found those great ones. and there they were: my two favorite-hate-songs. we all have some songs that we love. we all have some songs that we don’t apprecitae that much, but we can stand them. and yes, there are surely the horrible secret ones that we like but we would never admit that (even to ourselves), wouldn’t we? and then, there are these special ones. the first tones makes you shiver. and not in a good way. they make us so incredibly coco. you would run for miles just to turn this music noise of. for me, it’s I will survive and It’s raining men. they make me think of clichés like pathetic sad women crying in bars or having a bad bachelor party.
classics? maybe, but not classy. well, I can stick with the rain. but I prefer gene kelly.
